The Birch Grove Ring was delivered from Matthew Higby & Co in December 2021 and was purchased in memory of Molly and Peter Watson. The bells are tuned in a diatonic scale of D major and the tenor weighs 19lbs 8oz. They are currently waiting to be hung in Norfolk.
The bells are a memorial to Molly and Peter Watson, grandparents of Ollie. The treble and second bells are inscribed with their names. The name of the ring comes from Birch Grove House, near Horsted Keynes where Molly and Peter lived, which was home to the former prime minister of the United Kingdom, Maurice Harold Macmillan the 1st Earl of Stockton who lived at the house until his death there in 1986.
